Led lights work by providing a ground for the led through the frame the light is mounted in. Install the wiring for your offroad lights. If the wiring is going through the body install a grommet in the wiring hole. Put the wires through the grommet.

I no longer recommend self adhesive strips even included on the light strips. It adds a futuristic feel to your vehicle making it look like something out of a sci fi movie. If the frame is not making good enough contact with the body of your car use 16 gauge wire to create a ground wire attach it somewhere on the frame of the led lights and run the wire to a bolt on the metal frame of the car.

Seal the wiring in the grommet once light is finished. Set up the led light bar. To avoid shorting it remove the wire of the ground terminal first followed by the positive terminal.
