Installing A Concrete Sink

The technique for doing this will vary depending on the type of floor. The adjustable feet are very helpful in getting the sink level with concrete or tile floors. Install the adjacent countertop slabs over the sink sandwiching it between the countertop and the cabinet frame. Caution because of the weight of the sinks themselves and the added weight of dishes and water undermount sinks are best suited for more solid weight bearing countertop surfaces like marble concrete quartz or granite.

Make sure the strips are as tall as the finished countertop will be. The pedestal sink must be mounted to the floor for stability. For drilling into tile use a tile bit to drill the holes. If they are too short they won t be able to hold all of the concrete you need for the installation. Most are ada compliant. Be sure not to over tighten.

Use silicone or siliconized acrylic kitchen and bath caulk. If you re installing a sink cut 4 more boards to fit along the outline you drew. Apply a generous bead of caulk around the top of the sink s flange. Old faucets might need the old block support which simply clips into the sink holes.
