Install Vinyl Siding Corner Pieces

Install starter strips trim. Vinyl siding installation is designed to hang loosely on the sheathing so that it can expand and contract with temperature changes. Now you re ready to begin installation of the starter strips and corner posts that receive the siding panels. Hammer the first nail into the nailing slot.

Slide the vinyl siding removal tool just under the bottom lip of the uppermost piece of vinyl siding and pry gently upwards.

Cut a piece of flashing out of felt paper and install it at the bottom corners of the windows before you install the side j channels. With the diagonal corner pieces installed cut the remaining lengths of soffit material 1 4. Begin panel installation at back corner of house and work toward house front. Because the soffit pieces come in 12 ft.

Vinyl siding is installed from the bottom up so you must loosen it in the opposite direction.
