Install Closet Doors Before Or After Carpet

If you re remodeling your closet and installing sliding doors you may be concerned when it comes to installing the bottom brackets on your carpeting.

But for me as a diyer it was easier to do the base after the carpet and that way no gaps. If you cut the carpet only cut it back far enough to sit the toe kick on the floor just enough to where the carpet goes under it. I ve seen people reccomend both ways.
